Aluminium Turbine Roof Ventilators

Easy to install, maintenance free and energy free ventilation

Spinaway aluminium, domestic turbine roof ventilators exhaust the hot air that becomes trapped in the space between the ceiling and roof. This prevents heat radiation into rooms and helps lower inside temperatures and moisture.

Spinaway Turbo ventilators suit tiled or metal roofs, with pitches up to 45 degrees. They provide natural ventilation powered by the wind. No electrical connection or ducting is required. Turbo roof ventilators provide maintenance free operation. Relax and enjoy the benefits of cooler and more comfortable living.

Spinaway Turbo Ventilators

Spinaway turbo ventilators use the free energy of the wind 24 hours a day. One Spinaway turbo ventilator effectively ventilates the roof space of an average size home. For larger homes a second or third ventilator is required.

Spinaway Ventilators are made from light, and durable aluminium. They have a free flow 300mm throat and come complete with the base flashing and the necessary assembly screws.

They have a strong fibreglass reinforced nylon chassis for a silent operation. Sealed dual bearing housing for a long life and double riveted pressed vanes for superior strength.

We recommend the installation of two under eave vents to each Spinaway installed, to ensure correct operation.

Easy Installation

A simple to follow guide is printed on the Spinaway carton for both tiled and metal roofs. No special tools are needed, and no electrical connections are required. Care should always be taken when working on a roof and safety provisions put in place to suit the situation. Make sure ladders are used according to the manufacturer's recommendations and safe practices.

The Benefits of a Well Ventilated Home

Well-ventilated homes are protected from the problems associated with moisture condensation and summer temperatures. Ventilators combat the problems associated with, mould, mildew, dry rot, and damp insulation.

Normal insulation is not enough to prevent heat radiation into your home. With effective roof space ventilation less heat is radiated into rooms allowing air conditioners and fans to be more efficient.

Moisture laden air from inside the home, and outside air can condense and cause dampness. Ventilation prevents damage to ceilings and roof timbers, helps control mildew. Shaded areas of your home particularly benefit.

Ceiling insulation is less efficient when wet, and as a result more heating is needed to compensate. Ceilings can become mildewed too; good roof space ventilation overcomes these problems and reduces costs.

In rooms that are most prone to mildew and mould formation, ventilation helps to control the rapid growth that can occur. This occurs most when humidity is present. A Spinaway ventilator is an energy free supplement to an electrically powered extractor.
